| 001 | Brand Name purchase for the Hoffmann AVS-126VS Night Vision Goggle Test Set. The military equivalent nomenclature is the TS-3895A/UV. Salient Charateristics Per regulation GEN-20-AMAM-03: The below test sets are the only test sets authorized for use during the twelve month ANVIS inspection. The TS 3895A/UV has a recurring calibration requirement. The Hoffmann AVS-126VS may be used as a direct replacement for the TS-3895A/UV. The Hoffmann AVS-126VS consists of a self-contained test set capable of calibration of all Night Vision testing with an increased field of view (Full 40 Degrees) and enhanced resolution levels. The ANV-126 adds a microprocessor to the system electronics, replacing a variety of analog components. The system allows for enhanced visual acuity resolution levels for Green Phosphor and the new White Phosphor that is being currently fielded to the 189th. Direct reading of gain in real-time, including gain ratio between tubes, image tube current draw and test voltage, accurate adjustment of collimation and diopter, 20 fc. Test of gated and filmless tubes, and location and size of image defects in three zonal areas. The test set comes with all necessary electrical hardware and adaptors to maintain all unit NVGs and comes packaged in a rugged, portable MIL-Spec case. | 1 | EA |

The Buyer is requiring that any rebid must be lower than the 'current bid price' by this amount. The reduction is based on the total order and must be satisfied within the rebid minimum.
