Please accept the following questions with regards to SOL# W91QV1-19-R-0264, crane & hoist insp services. 1. Section 5. Specific Task states load testing annually, 1.3a states load testing every two years , please clarify. 2. Section 5.3 states load testing shall be accomplished using “certified test weights”, at the site visit we were told certified load cells could be used. (these would be attached to existing anchor points if/when available).

The Unfortunately, no. This information is not readily available. The PWS does include model numbers and information concerning the cranes with load capacities. As I receive RFIs (request for information), I will address them here. Any updates to the PWS will also be addressed, updated, and uploaded to Unison for bidding to start 9/13/19.

These are the dates to note: 9/12 - All RFIs must be in by Noon so the COR (contract officer representative) can answer the questions/inquiries and repost the PWS revision. 9/13 - Bids submissions can be initiated 9/17 - Bids must be in by Noon this date Let me know if you have any questions.

I do have to add that Line Item # 003 should only be for (1) ECMR (Enterprise Contract Manpower Reporting) as this is required to be completed after the Annual Crane Inspection no later than October 31st for each period of performance year. Can you confirm and correct?

There will be only one (1) ECMRA for each FY unless there in an increase/decrease to the labor force as a result of a MOD to the contract. This answer will be posted to UNISON so all vendors have access to the same information and the solicitation will be updated to change the total number of twenty (20) to one (1) for this CLIN.

An extension of the submission deadline to 24Sep19 is requested. Section 1.4.B.1 requires the contractor to provide labor costs along with commercial spare parts lists. With the number of cranes and different manufacturers, there is not enough time to provide this information. An additional site visit is requested. Information regarding the 10Sep site visit was not posted far enough in advance to allow for planning to travel to Fort Detrick from out of the area.
