Question Submitted:
Are these trailers required to be aluminum or steel construction? 2. Reference 1.4.5, 2.2.3 & 2.2.8 a. 1.4.5 states one-piece aluminum roof b. 2.2.3 states tread plate on front/lower roof section i. Is this supposed to be on top of the one-piece aluminum roof? c. 2.2.8 states durable material on rooftop surfaces, suggesting rubber-type skin but vendor can provide alternatives for approval. We can overlay the treadplate over the one-piece aluminum roof but for a walk on style roof, do not suggest a rubber-style roof for longevity purposes. 3. 2.1.16 – 2 stop/turn lights – is this per side of the trailer or total 2 lights for stop/turn lights? 4. 1.7 – Given generator lead times and axle lead times, 120 days after receipt of order may not be possible. Would it be possible to offer a longer lead time or is 120 days firm ARO? a. Would it be possible to stagger the ship dates? 5. The photos show equipment like the satellite system, antennas and other equipment on the interior of the trailer. Is the vendor to supply any wiring, pre-wire for any equipment and/or install any of the equipment? 6. 2.4.4 – Can you please provide the quantity of conduits required and the diagrams? 7. 2.4.5 – Can you please provide a detailed diagram for the equipment mounting area with dimensions? 8. 2.5.3 – For safety reason, in lieu of providing qty 3, 5-gallon jerry cans mounted on the tongue to supply fuel to the generator, can we offer to supply a standard metal fuel tank with internal pump to supply the fuel for the generator? It can be mounted in the same area inside a fuel box.

Documentation/Reference:
• Are these trailers required to be aluminum or steel construction?
o Aluminum, Steel may be permitted in certain areas.
• Reference 1.4.5, 2.2.3 & 2.2.8
o 1.4.5 states one-piece aluminum roof and 2.2.3 states tread plate on front/lower roof section
Is this supposed to be on top of the one-piece aluminum roof?
• Yes
• 2.2.8 states durable material on rooftop surfaces, suggesting rubber-type skin but vendor can provide alternatives for approval.
o We can overlay the treadplate over the one-piece aluminum roof but for a walk on style roof, do not suggest a rubber-style roof for longevity purposes.
We prefer some type of “rhino-liner” or comparable product to be installed onto roof – to provide extra protection against leaks and damage.
• 2.1.16 – 2 stop/turn lights – is this per side of the trailer or total 2 lights for stop/turn lights?
o Separate Stop and Turn signal lights for each side.
• 1.7 – Given generator lead times and axle lead times, 120 days after receipt of order may not be possible. Would it be possible to offer a longer lead time or is 120 days firm ARO?
o POP was extended to 210 days.
• Would it be possible to stagger the ship dates?
o Yes
• The photos show equipment like the satellite system, antennas and other equipment on the interior of the trailer. Is the vendor to supply any wiring, pre-wire for any equipment and/or install any of the equipment?
o No, exceptions are:
Power infrastructure – from circuit breaker panel to outlets.
We request conduit be ran for communications ports (or comparable means to run cables after construction).
• 2.4.4 – Can you please provide the quantity of conduits required and the diagrams?
o See attached
• 2.4.5 – Can you please provide a detailed diagram for the equipment mounting area with dimensions?
o See attached. Additional details may be provided to ensure proper dimensions. Much is dependent on the trailer construction.
• 2.5.3 – For safety reason, in lieu of providing qty 3, 5-gallon jerry cans mounted on the tongue to supply fuel to the generator, can we offer to supply a standard metal fuel tank with internal pump to supply the fuel for the generator? It can be mounted in the same area inside a fuel box.
o We want to stay with the jerry can setup – the primary reason is to support airlift requirements. The cans can be removed and replaced easily.

Question Submitted:
Must the trailer have radius corners or are the front corners in the pics acceptable? Must the trailer have riveted seams, as we use a high strength manus 75-AM adhesive alone that is well proven? The extruded aluminum flooring that we use have very tiny ribs in it but I would say is mostly smooth is that sufficient? What is meant by install circuit panel on 2.6.13? Are 3/4" lights a must?

Documentation/Reference:
• Must the trailer have radius corners or are the front corners in the pics acceptable?
o Given that the bulk of the trailer is aluminum, radius corners are normally used.
• Must the trailer have riveted seams, as we use a high strength manus 75-AM adhesive alone that is well proven?
o Yes, riveted seams are required. Adhesive alone doesn’t stand up to the rigors of deployments to disaster areas.
• The extruded aluminum flooring that we use have very tiny ribs in it but I would say is mostly smooth is that sufficient?
o Yes, it is sufficient.
• What is meant by install circuit panel on 2.6.13?
o Install A/C and D/C circuit panels appropriate for power distribution. Additional details can be provided.
• Are 3/4" lights a must?
o Comparable size is permitted.
