Question Submitted:
1. Can we get the government to clarify/label the columns in their inventory spreadsheets? For instance, in Edging_Monthly, is column D square feet or linear feet? If square feet, do they have the dimensions of each area? Is column E the number of times per year? 2. In Mowing_Type_1_Weekly, is column I the required number of times mowed per week? 3. In Mowing_Type_2_Biannual, what is the significance of the notes in column H – since the file is titled “Biannual” (which means every 2 years, not semi-annual which means twice per year), the note of 2 per year is semiannual, contrary to the title? Is column I the required number of times mowed per every other year, so most of the areas are mowed zero times per year (since they have no entry in column I)? 4. In Mowing_Type_2_Monthly, what is the significance of the notes in column H – since the file is titled “Monthly”, the note of 2 per year is semiannual, contrary to the title? Is column I the required number of times mowed per month, so most of the areas are mowed monthly but many are mowed semiannually or annually? And what is the requirement for line 61, Boundary A Area – that line shows no number in column I? 5. SoW Paragraph 4.3 Special Mowing Requirements: Occasionally lots to be used for some special purpose will require mowing just prior to the date of use. The Contractor shall revise his or her schedule in order to mow these lots by the required date. If the notification of change is made at least 24 hours in advance of the required mowing time, no additional compensation will be made. If less notice is given, a premium of 10% of the lot unit prices will be paid. 6. There are no provisions in the government’s forms for “unit pricing” any of the lots. Are we to provide a unit price for each lot – most of which are different sizes – or even a “per acre” unit price?

I feel I cannot give this solicitation its due diligence within the time frame provided and will therefore not be submitting an offer at this time. Please let me know, in the event that the solicitation's due date is extended, as I may be able to provide a well formulated offer.
