For purposes of calculating shipping cost, where is IKUN LLC located?

We are based in Africa and believe we could fulfill the solicitation at a reasonably good price, although we'd like to ship directly to the Cotonou, Benin site, as this is more practical from our location. Would that be acceptable or do the units have to be sent to the depot in US Dispatch Agency in New York?

Response Received:

It is in the Government's interest to allow for this flexibility. The solicitation will therefore be amended to allow for direct delivery to the final destination, Benin. The option to deliver to IKUN LLC (in the USA) remains; however, the solicitation amendment will require those who plan to deliver to IKUN LLC to include in their offer the weight and dimensions of their offered product. The Government will use the offeror-provided weight and dimensions to calculate the cost it will incur to ship the equipment from the USA to the final destination. This cost will be added to the price of offers with IKUN LLC as FOB destination to evaluate/determine the overall Lowest (evaluated) Price, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offer. Offerors shall plan accordingly.
