1. Delivery date allows for time to make the award after solicitation closes.
2. Sow calls for 2 1/2 " bolts for connecting barricades your posts are 1 3/8" dia 2 1/2" is too small you need at least 4" bolts please clarify. Panel clamp & bolt, fence panel connector QTY: 250• 1-3/8in panel clamp with 5/16" x 2-1/2" bolts to connect temporary fence panels together • Compatible with 6’H x 10’W chain link temporary fence panel.
The clamps are narrower at the center, the 2 ½ inch bolts are sufficiently long to tighten clamp. Longer bolts are acceptable, however, I recommend not using bolts longer than 3 inches because the bolt could pose a hazard by sticking out too far.
Picture below is an example of a standard clamp found in the market (Picture was sniped from https://www.soncocrowdcontrol.com)
3. Please clarify by what you mean by 43in x 96in interlocking metal barricade built with 16 ga heavy duty steel • 8 ft. long for larger perimeters. Specs state bolting together. Do you want to bolt together or clamp together which one??
The fifty 43in. x 96in. metal barricades listed in the SOW are different from the chain link panels, these type of metal barricades interlock together by “hooks” attached to the barricade, not bolted.
4. This is not a rental of fence contract??? Please clarify.
Not a rental, these is a purchase request, chain link fence and barricades will be used in EPT as needed in different sites. The intent of purchasing these panels is to avoid using PCard for services.
5. Panel clamp & bolt, fence panel connector QTY: 250 • 1-3/8in panel clamp with 5/16" x 2-1/2" bolts to connect temporary fence panels together • Compatible with 6’H x 10’W chain link temporary fence panel Do you want half clamps and half bolts Please clarify 6.
