seller stated the following: After reaching out to Nikon directly, they said they are unable to identify exactly where their products are being assembled. A majority of their products are assembled in Japan and Thailand, but some are also assembled in China. Unfortunately, there is no way to track which product came from where before actually being purchased. How would you like to proceed in filling out the Buy American Act provision? Would you like me to include all three potential countries for each product?

Buyer is seeking clarification as to what the seller questioned concerning NTE? Are you referring to a Not to exceed date?, a not to exceed cost? or a not to exceed model? Please rephrase the question? Date is to not exceed 120 days. Cost depends on which seller offers the lowest acceptable bid and model requested is NIKON D850 Camera.

The model requested DMC-FX37K is an older and out of stock model is a lot of locations. Are you requesting this item be "brand new"?

Seller stated that the requested model is DMC-FX37K which is an older out of stock model. That is not the model that I requested. I requested NIKON Brand digital camera model number D850 for this particular purchase.

seller asked: can you please share the part # or model # for required products.
Response Received:
Buyer is seeking clarification. There is no part # or model # to share because this request is not being asked for by brand name. Brand name is immaterial as the buyer does not have a brand name justification.
Buyer is requesting quotes for the purchase of Digital Still photo camera which also has the capability of digital video. Video resolution: 8K, Sensor size: 35mm. Still image resolution: 45 megapixels. Everything else being requested needs to be compatible with this type of camera.

What information belongs in the "Buy America Act" document?
Response Received:
The Buy America Act document is suppose to be filled out by the seller who is providing a quote and the product line item number and country of origin is suppose to be listed on that "Buy America Act" document. This is to ensure that products that are purchased that are manufactured out of the U.S. are from a qualifying approved country.
