Question 1: Based on the Buy Item No.11 and No.12 requirements that the system needs to interface with (6) analog radios that support 2/4W tone keying and E/M applications. Is that accurate? Answer: We plan on connecting radios after we have completed the install and mutual aid agreements with Aerostar, Ft. Buchanan, Puerto Rico, and Carolina Fire Departments. Locally we would connect radios to use with Security Forces and the Command Post and possibly Emergency Management if possible. The intention is to work with the communications flight to add the required frequencies to our Motorola XTL 2500's. Our Communications Flight experts where present when discussed what was needed for the actual quote. They may be able to explain/answer better. As the end user I don't know what "2/4W tone Keying and E/M applications" means. Question 2: Are the radios that are connecting to the NEW Radio Dispatch System located in one building or multiple sites? Answer: The plan is to locate the XTL 2500's within the Fire Station if possible. Whatever works.
