Our supplier has asked the following question as to the readers and cards: "He will have to contact HID to see what readers they can use. We can get the readers but they have to match the reader to the cards the end user is providing. They are very specific." Please post

Response Received:

Vendor shall provide PIV multi class card reader keypads. Rationale for the procurement of this type of card reader keypad, is that it provides maximum flexibility for PIV card recognition. Building 625C currently does not have any card readers.

The external door has been replaced as a separate project. Please see new attachment; updated drawing which has red-lined the statement about door replacement.

1. Are Ceilings Suspended? Or Hard Lid? 2. Are there existing Cable Trays for wiring above ceilings? 3 .Can Existing Wiring be utilized? 4. Is a “UPS” required? If so, What Time/Power Duration is required? 5. Are “Or Equal” Equipment substitutions allowed? 6. Is “Plenum Wire” acceptable? 7. Is “After Hours Access” for said work, available to contractor at no add’l cost to the Gov’t? 8. What is the height of Exterior Cameras? (If any) 10. Please provide/post other “Q & A” requests.

Response Received:

1. Building 625C has suspended ceilings 2. There are no cable trays above the ceiling 3. Use of existing wiring is not recommended – we don’t have good enough knowledge of the original install or supporting diagrams. In order to use original wiring, additional testing and report of findings would have to be conducted beforehand 4. Yes, UPS with one hour power back-up 5. Yes 6. Yes 7. The OIC will be able to support after-hours access if necessary. 8. Reference to the exterior camera pertains to the camera/doorbell AI PHONE - Answer is 60-inches
