Question Submitted:
Will installation of the refrigerators be required? If not, will they be placed in storage with the Vulcan Ranges?
Response Received:
No installation of the refrigerators or freezers. Yes they will be placed in storage with ranges. They must be uncreated or packaged. I don't really know how they ship.
Question Submitted:
Can you please provide a complete list of the specific equipment that will need to be moved out to the trailers on the loading dock?
Response Received:
The only equipment that will be need to be moved to the loading dock. Is a Double stack oven, medium size ice machine and bin.
Question Submitted:
As there is some assembly of parts tot the ranges, is there a separate area for delivery or will they be delivered directly to the "warehouse" and can be un-palletized and final assembled there? We will need to know the exact location to have our vendor deliver and assemble
Response Received:
There is no power at the warehouse location that is why the turn key states that all equipment must be already assemble upon delivery. This can not be a drop shipment. Directly from the factory to the building.
Question Submitted:
Does this buy require installation or the equipment or only FOB delivery to Fort Lee?
Response Received:
The buy requires installation of the Ice Machine and the Combi oven. The ranges must be completely assembled as they will actually go into storage for use in our annual culinary competition in march.
Question Submitted:
I wanted to ask another question about the Acopa plates. Acopa has an exclusive contract to only sell their products trough Webstaurant. As they are a competitor of us, and probably most everyone who would be providing a bid on here, I wanted to see if you would be able to change the Bidding Requirement of Brand Name Only to Brand Name or Equal? Please let me know.
Response Received:
I cannot change the bid for brand name only. If I do that I will get equipment that I do not want. The only brand name Items I must have is the ranges, oven, refrigerators, freezers and Ice machine w/ components. The plates. If you look at the memo it only lists the cooking equipment and not the plates.
Question Submitted:
For the Dormont gas hoses, can you either advise the model number of these you are looking for or specify the length and components needed in each kit? This will be crucial to know to ensure I am quoting the gas connector that you have detailed.
Response Received:
Dormont Manufacturing Model No. 1675KIT48 Dormont Blue Hose™ Moveable Gas Connector Kit, 3/4" inside dia., 48" long, covered with stainless steel braid, coated with blue antimicrobial PVC, (1) SnapFast® QD, (1) full port valve, (2) 90° elbows, (1) Snap'N Go, coiled restraining cable with hardware, 180,000 BTU/hr minimum flow capacity
Question Submitted:
Additonally, in attachment 4 it includes some Acopa plates. On the 12" plate the description calls out both the Acopa 12 1/4" couple plates as well as the CAC coupe plates. However on the other plates it only calls out the Acopa. I wanted to see if CAC equivalents would be accepted? Thank you.
Response Received:
The ranges refrigerators freezers, hoses and ice machine/components is the only thing that needs to be exact matched. All major end equipment. The plates can be equivalents.
Question Submitted:
Is installation still needed for this request? I ask as it is no longer included in attachment 4
Response Received:
Yes installation is required for the ice machines/comp0nets and the combi oven. the ranges must be completely assembled as they will go into storage for use in our culinary shoe.
