Two Questions: 1 - Does customer actually need HAZLOC requirement for the radios? 2 - The request is for radios with over the air rekeying, however there is no request for any encryption. I would think you would need AES or something else.

I'm trying to align the requirements to the submission layout - request an extension to get clarification. For example - Line #10 on the Motorola items is QTY 10 batteries - but Line #10 under the Harris Radio Items is QTY 20 belt clips. the submission template layout does not provide any way to change description or quantity. Line #10 on the submission template is locked to the Harris Radio Items. Meaning the templated response locked into a Harris solution without opportunity to compete with Motorola equipment.

Thank you for your question. In response to the question, I used the Harris radio information to place it in the buyers description because an earlier question requested the items to be listed to properly submit a bid. However, we are seeking 20 radios (either Harris or Motorola) with 10 additional batteries and 20 belt clips, etc. The list from our attachment present both (Motorola and Harris) descriptions for what we are looking for. To make it fair, I will extend until Monday to allow a re-look and fair bidding.

I do not have an answer for your question yet. I forwarded the question to my customer. He initially told me that because the NEC office provides secured frequencies, he didn't think it would need it. But, he was going to verify. Submit your bid without it and if we need it, I will add it to the bid winner.

The UNISON bid form only has 1 section for all 10 items requested. That would be okay if you needed 20 of each, but your request includes 10 spare batteries, 2 6-bay chargers and 2 single bay chargers. Please adjust the bid section to allow individual part numbers, descriptions and quantities for all 10 items requested. Thank you for your help.
