1. Will you provide a Tax Exemption certificate to the awarded vendor? 2. Will you accept more than one (1) Hotel to accommodate the number of double occupancy units?

1. Purchases by the Federal Government are tax exempt by law and most states accept the purchase order as evidence of purchase by the Federal Government. This is not tax advice and does not guarantee that the jurisdiction the purchase is in will waive the sales tax. It is the vendors' responsibility to check applicable state laws before making an offer. 2. Due to logistical needs, multiple hotels will not be accepted.

We would like to know if all the Rooms need to be under one location, or can be under different places? Ex. Hotel 1 Has (9) Double Beds Available, Hotel 2 has (9) Double Beds Available and Hotel 3 has (8) double beds available for a total of 26 Double Bed rooms. Would this setup be ok?

For the above solicitation how many miles from Ft. Carson do they need to be? 2. Does the property need to be FEMA & Triple AAA 3 diamond rated?

Please review the Purchase Description in the Solicitation, which states: Within 10-mile radius (according to Google Maps driving directions) of 5910 Magrath Ave Bldg. 1362, Fort Carson, CO 80913. 2. Yes, the Hotel must be fire-safe approved as verified at https://apps.usfa.fema.gov/hotel/. Government preference is for a three (3) star or better rated hotel however this is not technical criteria to quote, it is the vendors decision to select a hotel that is desirable.
