The initial question came from a confirmation with the manufacturer, that it is not possible to have 3200lbs at 53in reach to 192in on the Crown RMD6025. the derate is much less and the Laws of Physics do not permit it. The truck would then create an unsafe operating environment and the truck would in fact "topple over". This is why on the Crown specification pages that the only number listed is the base capacity of 3200lbs and no mast data information. Please provide complete specifications as lifting more than what the lift truck is able to lift to an extended mast height and max double reach function of 53in can cause serious bodily injury, death and or dismemberment of operator and or any bystanders in the area of operation

Please state the required lift capacity at the required lift height. The reference model does not lift 3200lbs at full extension, in other words, the load extended out in front of the forklift, reach function in full extension, and in full extension of mast, so the mast raised to the top. This is what is called De-Rate and happens due to the Laws of Physics with the Load Triangle of the forklift. This can be referenced on OSHA's website. In order to provide an accurate and safe quote for the government. All vendors are asking for the government to clearly state what that specific requirement is. The Reference model in this solicitation is an Crown RMD6025 V Force Tubular HC and the base load capacity is 3,200. The higher you raise the mast the more the forklift derates meaning it might only be able to lift 2,000 lbs to 192" or higher. This is also a double reach truck so the load will be extended out so it will derate even more. Question 3 - Could you please clarify what the load capacity requirement is when the mast is fully raised (192" or higher) and with reach fully extended?

Question 1 - Is a 36" Reach Extension acceptable for this bid? The lift capacity required is 3,200 lbs, however, the specs say that it needs 3,200 lbs at max height (fully extended). The higher a lift extends the more it derates. Question 2 - Could you please clarify what load capacity is required at max lift height (192")?
