I'm a little confused about the location of the Meal Preps. Can you please clarify? Thank you so much. (a. Contracted personnel will prepare and serve meals at the training location to Soldiers daily based on the provide schedule) (c. There will be no facilities available or provided for food preparation throughout duration of contract. Each meal must be transported from vendor’s preparation site to two different drop off locations on Fort Barfoot VA or serve out of the vendor’s food truck at Range 15 and to go meals be prepared to be sent to different location.)
Response Received:
There will be no government facilities to use to prepare food. The vendor is responsible for preparing the food and delivering to the specified locations. In previous requirements a vendor would set up a Food truck at the training location (Range 15), cook and serve food from their truck. Then shuttle food onto the main post where the rest of the Soldiers were. You may choose to prepare the food at the training location, or you may choose to prepare the food at a different location and then deliver to the soldiers. There is about a 15 minute drive time from the training location to Camp Barfoot.
