Can you please elaborate on 5.2 "the Contractor should develop a menu based on the UGR-As or H&S received from the Government". Is the Contractor building their own menu off of the items provided in the UGR-As or H&S? Is the contractor allowed to include additional items that are not in the UGR-As or H&S?

The Contractor will develop and post menu based on what is UGRs are provided.

Is contractor allowed to provide sleeping bunks for contractors staff (sleep on site)?

No, the CTR is not authorized to sleep on site.

Upon award is contractor allowed to visit site before start of the contract? When is contractor allowed to start setting up?
Response Received:
No, there will not be a site visit prior. CTR can begin setting up on 18 FEB.

Where is the SSMO located? How far away is it from where the contractor will be set up?

SSMO is located on Fort Irwin.

What are the contractors access times for the camp? Are allowed 24hr access?
Response Received:
The Contractor will have reasonable access to prepare and close out after the meal period. The CTR will have to explain why they would need 24hr access.

1.What are the dimensions of the space? 2. Will we need to procure the forklift to drop the UGRA's

1. The area for mobile kitchen space is to be determined. Two 8,400 sqft tents will be provided for serving and feeding space. 2. A forklift will not be provided by the USG.

What other ways can the heat and serves be made besides ration heaters?
Response Received:
Majority of rations will be fresh, but it is up to the Contractor to determine how to cook and prepare IAW TB MED 530.
