Response Received:
**1. Routes and Scheduling:** Answer: No, the delivery routes and times will remain the same for the duration of the contract. **2. Staffing and Personnel:** Answer: No, there are no other required qualifications certifications required. No more than two individuals would be required. **3. Fleet and Vehicle Requirements:** Answer: A vehicle capable of transporting the locked bins in the quantity, weight and size outline in the Statement of Work. **4. Security and Access:** Answer: No additional security clearances or processes are required other than what are outlined in the Statement of Work. No specific access protocols are necessary. No classified information would be handled. **5. Performance and Penalties:** Answer: Delivery must be completed on a timely basis as outlined in the Statement of Work. They are needed for litigation purposes. As such, delays in delivery are problematic. Failure to meet the delivery schedule as outlined in the Statement of Work would be cause for termination. **6. Fuel and Maintenance Costs:** Answer: All fuel and maintenance costs are the responsibility of the contractor, not the government. **7. Transition and Training:** Answer: Service is expected to commence immediately upon the start date. If needed OPLA is available to provide training on the handling of documents. **8. Contract Extensions and Options:** Answer: The government exercises option years at its sole discretion. Usually about a month before the current POP ends. If the contractors performance is not acceptable the government may choose to not exercise the next option period.
