1.The online bid page asks for a Hotel Fee is this amount separate from the per diem rate threshold? 2. The online bid page does not allow us to adjust the number of rooms, however the description states all 144 rooms are not required throughout the dates of occupancy, how do we provide the actual number of rooms we have to offer if the system does not allow changes?
Response Received:
1.On the hotel fee you can reflect the lump sum amount that would be for the entire 144 rooms regardless on the occupancy at any given time. 2.First contract line item will reflect the the price of each room per night multiplied by 144. and the second will reflect the solely the hotel fee as a lump sum total based on the 144 rooms. No hotel sales taxes need to be added as we can provide the tax exemption form upon request. Thank you for inquiring.

Do you have a list of personnel to determine a minimum number of rooms required per night? How much notice will be provided for nightly rooms required?
Response Received:
We do not have a Final list of personnel to determine a minimum number of rooms required per night, but we usually use an average number of 60 rooms for the RSD Date 14-15 May and for the rest of the dates it is very variable depends on Units needs and requests. We usually notify Hotel 2-5 days before RSD date of the Final list of personnel and for the rest of the dates it is 2 days before but sometimes it is a last minute request.
