Good Afternoon, We are currently in the process of biding for (NAICS code 339940) and are already in talks with Dell for pricing but there is a few of the items in the list that might not be in time for the contract and we wanted to see if this will be acceptable: “Lead-time is approximately 20-25 business days on Lat5430 and 1-5 business days on dock & SSD once a PO is received (this is subject to change due to part availability).” Please let us know if this will be an issue.

Understand the timeline posted in the question. If everything went correctly order could be in route/just shipped at the 30 day mark and arrive shortly there after. That situation would still be acceptable. What concerns us is the verbiage "subject to change due to part availability." We really can't afford to be waiting months for this shipment to arrive. The sample in the bid description is a combination lock not keyed lock. Is that fine?

I double checked the model number referenced in the description in the manufacturer catalog and their website. K64440WW is the current model for the standard keyed wedge lock. K68008EU is the combination wedge lock.

Does this need to be master keyed and to an existing or new key code?

Response Received:

No this does not need to be master keyed (K64441M) or to an existing key (K60501L) code. The K64440WW (K64440) series wedge lock is their standard key lock.
