Must it come from Naval Facility in Jacksonville, FL on Naval boat. • Helium and/or nitrogen can be shipped by barge via Jacksonville, FL. 2. How can normal repair parts be shipped to NAVHOSP GITMO? • Repair parts can be shipped to GTMO. Shipping takes 1-3 weeks to arrive. 3. How can Field Service Engineers reach GITMO? • Take the military rotator out of Jacksonville, FL or Norfolk, VA. Military rotator flights are every Tuesday (rotate weekly from Norfolk or JAX) and Friday (always from JAX). 4. What weekly travel dates are available? • Military rotator flights are every Tuesday (rotate weekly from Norfolk or JAX) and Friday (always from JAX). 5. In other words, once on GITMO, how long must an engineer be there before the next exit flight is available? • Less than one week depending on flight availability (Flights depart from GTMO every Tuesday and Friday). 6. What is current helium level? • Less than 3%. 7. Is cold head operational? • Per a previous assessment the cold head needs to be replaced. 8. Is compressor operational? • Yes, the compressor is operational. 9. What is current Siemens Espree software version? • Software Version syngo MR B19 10. Is the Siemens Espree in a mobile trailer or is it in a building? • Mobile trailer. 11. How many coil channels is this MRI utilizing 8, 18, 32? • It has 9 coil channels. 12. If it is an 8 channel system, would you want it upgraded to 18 channels? • We want to keep it at 9 coil channels 13. Once system is up and operational, are you also asking for a Full Maintenance service agreement including quarterly preventive maintenance, parts, labor, travel cost, shipping cost, Magnet Maintenance Agreement including helium and installation, cold head, compressor, and flex line repair, and a complete remote diagnostic unit that will alert you and us of any fluctuation of critical system operational parameters? • Yes, we are requesting full-service maintenance. 14. Is there anything I left out? • Service includes all labor, materials, equipment, and software in accordance with (IAW) manufacturer (MFR)/Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications.
