Question Submitted:
Will the government permit any modern, advanced and proven technology control solutions such as mosquito bait station systems to fulfill this SOW requirement?
Response Received:
In an LPTA solicitation, the Government evaluates proposals based on meeting the technical requirements outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) and ensuring compliance with the solicitation criteria. While modern and advanced technologies, such as mosquito bait station systems, may be considered, they must demonstrate the capability to meet the specified performance standards outlined in the SOW. The proposed solution must also align with the technical acceptability criteria to be deemed compliant. Vendors are encouraged to ensure that their proposed solution meets all of the technical requirements and is competitively priced.

This solicitation is being issued in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and applicable Department of Homeland Security (DHS) acquisition policies. Unless otherwise stated within the solicitation, there is no preference or set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) contractors. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
