Hello, I have a question regarding taxes. I am a DBE/SBE vendor and I am contemplating finding lodging for the Navy under this solicitation. Since I am the prime contractor the payment comes to me and I forward it to the hotel. Does this mean that I would owe taxes on the lodging? Or this means that I am getting a tax exempt certificate that would free me from paying the taxes after the Navy's lodging

What certifications or permits are you willing to accept? - Are there any special requirements in terms of lodging accommodations such as complimentary breakfast, free wifi, etc? - Are there a certain number of double occupancy beds vs single occupancy?
Response Received:
Certification R/ The stand certificatons. We will require amenities exceeding the above average accommodations. (free breakfast and free wifi is standard for hotels). This requirement specifies double occupancy beds not single.
