Question Submitted:
1.Is the grating in the entryway to remain or be removed and replaced with the desired LVP?
2. Please confirm if the existing base and shoe moulding are to be salvaged for re-installation? Any additional work on baseboards (cleaning, coating, etc.) if desired.
3. Please confirm that the furniture and all other items are to be removed by others prior to commencement of the project.
4. Please confirm that we viewed all spaces to receive new flooring (Entrance, Lobby, Dining Area, Kitchen and two (2) closets adjacent dining area).
5. Please confirm that "option 1, 372, Suede" is the desired color selection for the flooring.
6. Will equal materials be accepted for cost reduction purposes if we can match the color as closely as possible?
Response Received:
Answer to Question Number 1: Leave the grating in place but replace the floors surrounding it.
Answer to Question Number 2: Replace the baseboards/shoe moulding rather than re-installing the existing ones.
Answer to Question Number 3: The tenet will remove all furniture, minus the vending machines which belongs to the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES). Request those two machines be maneuvered in the area to complete the project.
Answer to Question Number 4: Yes. All areas listed above were viewed during the site visit.
Answer to Question Number 5. Yes, Option 1 (372 Suede) is our desired preference.
Answer to Question Number 6: Only if the occupants can physically view the samples of the brand/equal of the material requested to make that determination before a decision is made.
