The (2) barriers at 1111 18th Street NW do not have a standard OEM control system. The barrier controls were made and programmed by Total Automation Group (TAG). Please confirm that TAG has provided the USSS all Passwords and a copy of the PLC program and that the current control system is not proprietary to TAG.
Response Received:
At this time we are being told that the system is not password protected. However, no PLC software was provided by the previous vendor (TAG). We continue to research if there is any proprietary hold on the software. If we do find that there is proprietary software we would seek to obtain a new control system that we the USSS would hold the rights.
