The Livescan equipment is from NEC.

Response Received:
1) This is not a virtual service. Per the SOW, The Contractor shall perform all work at the USSS Headquarters and other USSS facilities located within the Washington D.C. Metro area.
2) There is no incumbent
3) The contract is planned to be awarded no later than 20 Sept 2023
4) The Government is not disclosing budget allocation for this requirement prior to award.
5) Service is expected to begin 1 October 2023
6) There is no site visit scheduled for the awardee post-award.

Which LiveScan vendor are you currently using? Is the LiveScan Support Services requirement a new position or is there someone in place?
Response Received:
The LiveScan units were procured through NEC. There's currently no one performing the support services effort in this requirement. The last contractor to perform support services ceased work in August 2022.
