Can you separate out the 800 SFT Tents onto it's own solicitation? We have these tents and can offer great pricing and service for them. We cannot also bid on the larger ones as we just have the 800 SFT Tents.
Response Received:
We cannot separate a requirement to accommodate a contractors capabilities. The solicitation states that partial quotes are not acceptable.

Does the Berry Amendment apply to the tent structures (Fabric & Frame)? Is it a requirement for this contract? For LSA Warrior (RUBA) What is the height of the MHE (10K)? What is the minimum clearance in feet for the opening of the tent? For the sleeping tents, are the cots provided by the USG? Will the USG provide the fuel (Diesel) for the power generation used for tents? Page 18 of the solicitation states a QTY of 2 - 7000sqft tents. Can you confirm how many 7000 sqft tents are required per Period of Performance. Are tents allowed to be stored onsite or left up between Period of Performance? (Yermo #1 & Yermo #2)
Response Received:
No the Berry Amendment does not apply. The minimum clearance for the opening should enable personnel utilizing the tents to comfortably enter and exit the tent in a standing position with gear on. The COTS will be provided by the USG. USG will be provided the fuel for the power generation. Two (2) 7,000 sqft tents per period of performance. Please see section 5.11 of the statement of work for removal of tents. Are you able to build the structures at one time...I see no issue with this, provided it is after 19AUG. HOWEVER: the Government will not sign for all of them until the day of the individual tents POP nor be responsible for them until that time.
