Question Submitted: What is the distance from the unloading area to drop location? Is there an area where contractor can leave forklift equipment due to multiple days delivery? Can Buyer extend due date until a few days after above responses? Response Received: The distance from the unloading area to the drop location is 200-300 feet. The contractor can leave the forklift at the drop location until all deliveries are off loaded. The buy bidding cannot be extended. I need these sandbags as soon as possible.

Question Submitted: Is sandbags 14" x 23" acceptable? Response Received: No. The sandbags must be 14"x26". These sandbags will be used with other 14"x26" sandbags we previously purchased. So, it is important that they stack properly.

Question Submitted: Is washed sand for the fill material acceptable? Response Received: Per the salient characteristics, it should be "Fine grade sand that is free of soil and pollutants". Washed sand may not be free of soil and pollutants so I would not consider it acceptable.

Question Submitted: Will you accept White super sacks rather than orange? Would you also accept 100 sandbags per super sack as long as you receive 9800 sandbags per the salient characteristics? Response Received: We will accept super sacks of a different color. The super sack must be a different color than the sandbags. We will accept super sacks packed with either 100 or 125 sandbags in each.

Question Submitted: Will you accept 45-pound sandbags instead of 40-pounds sandbags? Response Received: Yes, 45-pound sandbags are acceptable as long as we still receive 9800 sandbags in the bulk supersacks per Salient Characteristics.
