I would love to bid and we can provide competitive coverage and pricing based on the volume of work we do for other agencies in this area. However, it’s a small business set aside. Alliant is a large business with qualifications and registered in sam.gov. Additionally, if the DHS/ICE would release a vehicle list (pw protected of course) and loss summary detail for the last 5 years) they would get better consideration from the insurance carrier market. Note: we are familiar with the DHS ICE program and it’s previous carrier/broker and have access to loss data with their permission if they do not possess. I have a watch on the opportunity in case they do not get sufficient interest from small business but because their effective date for coverage is 7/26 it would be a very fast turnaround on their part. With your time constraints we recommend that you open this up to full and open competition, I doubt you with find a small business to offer terms with a quick turnaround. Also, we will need 5 years of loss runs, a vehicle list with VINs, the estimated number of trips that government vehicles cross into Canada.
