1. The SOW asks for 4 PTZ cameras “to replace existing cameras”. There are 6 cameras at this facility. Did you want all 6 replaced with like cameras or with PTZ cameras? (Only 2 cameras are PTZ currently) Replace with like camera 2. What is the pathway to the outside PTZ Dome camera on the Pole? Is it Coax or Fiber? Don’t know 3. Where does this pathway penetrate the building to go to the Head End? Don’t know 4. The Gate Camera is a Fixed Camera. Do you want this replaced with a PTZ camera? No 5. Where is the pathway penetration for the Gate Camera in the building? Don’t know 6. The Front Entry Camera is a Fixed Dome Camera. Do you want this replaced with a PTZ camera? No 7. The Interior Entry Camera is a Fixed Dome Camera. Do you want this replaced with a PTZ camera? No 8. The Interior Hallway Camera is a Fixed Dome Camera. Do you want this replaced with a PTZ camera? No replacement, this is not part of the contract 9. Inside the facility are we allowed to utilize the ceiling grid wire to hang our cable with J Hooks? Don’t know, as long as it is within regulations should not be a problem 10. Is the intent of statement # 2 to utilize the Camera Controller (Pelco KBD 300A) with the new CCTV system? If so then the cameras and the storage system will have to be Pelco equipment, or can we recommend another manufactures product? As long as the capability specifications of the contract are met, make a recommendation. 11. Will the Head End of the New CCTV System still remain at the desk of the old CCTV System? Yes 12. Are the 2 monitors on the desk where the Head End is located to be part of the New CCTV System? The two monitors will need to be replaced with the new CCTV system. 13. Will it be the responsibility of the contractor to dispose of the old equipment or will the Government take care of that? Government will dispose 14. Does the Government have a labeling scheme for this New CCTV system? Don’t know. Government is flexible with a naming scheme/system for the new CCTV system as long as it is logical. 15. Is this New CCTV System a standalone system or will it be connected to an existing system? Require the capability within the facility. This is a standalone system for the building. 16. Can we use our own Company forms for testing and commissioning of this New CCTV System? Don’t know 17. What is the Backup time requirement for the UPS for this system? 8 hours
