WE HAVE JUST RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING EMAIL FROM OUR SUPPLIER We really need to either check the electrical in person or get a close up of the tag on the Friedrich units to make sure we have the electrical we need. We should ask about permitting requirements on the base Can you get us some answers or access to the buildings? KINDLY REPLY URGENTLY TODAY.
Response Received:
The Friedrich units are being replaced by the requirments outlined in the contract. The vendor needs to come up with a system that can heat and cool the building that is shown in the other picture (approx 1000 sq. feet). Whatever system the vendor uses, the vendor must completly wire it to standard. the vendor must also remove the current system completly and haul away the old material from the site. Once the contract is award access will be awarded to the installation, that process is not long or difficult.

Question Submitted:
Is it possible to get a layout of the building and/or a drawing that will show where the condensers and highwall air handlers will be installed? Are there any existing old equipment to be removed? This information will help us in giving an accurate bid estimate. Thank you.
Response Received:
It's an open room, the only items that this contract will have you to remove would be the existing HVAC systems which are about 6' x 4' 3' (2 ea. building) along with all the air ducts and wiring in two prefabricated building. Then install the new ones, wire install, test, haul away all your debris in your own dumpsters, ensure everything is working to code before leaving then come back back in a few weeks to ensure the systems are stable and no iisues.
Question Submitted:
Please attach a SOW. Thank you.
Response Received:
This is a full "Turn Key" contract. The vendor will be required at a minimum to take out the old systems, remove all debris from the job site, install "to code" the new system, service the new system, validate that the new system is up and running as it should be, haul away all debris from the job site, come back at a specified date to recheck the systems to ensure that there are no issues. Again this is intended to be a "Turn Key" contract and the things that were just layed out are just a sample of what is expected to be accomplished.
