Please clarify the following information: If we go with the 3.5k axles the overall weight that these axles can support is 7,000lbs, but you have to deduct the empty weight of the trailer from this and you will not have a 7,000lb loading capacity. For example: Two 3,500lb axles will give the trailer a GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating) of 7,000lbs, but if the empty weight of the trailer is 2,000lbs, you will only be able to put 5,000lbs in the trailer before you hit the max axle capacity. We can quote one trailer that has two 5,200lb axles on it. This should give you the requested 7,000lb capacity with some room to spare. Is this acceptable? Thank you.
