Powder coating- we do have a local supplier that we use, but the question becomes with our Security doors we spot weld the door skin at approx. every 3”, we would traditionally grind smooth and fill in any indentation with our standard body fill, that body fill will not take the extreme heat that are needed for powder coating, so the question becomes, will the owner accept those indentations in the door, or will the doors require body fill?
