The government has established the line item- to enact the average cot that would include the cost of total repair. The government currently has leased 8 washers and dryers and will only seek those 16 machines to be re-leased under the next contractor. The government has 197 machines to continue repair and maintenance for.

Good Morning. These washer would need to be one site preferrably within 2 weeks of contract execution if not sooner depending on the requiring activities need. Unfortunately due to limited space in JBMHH and overall requirement of the barracks/housing of JB meyer-henderson, trailer will not be acceptable for this requirement.

Base year will start 03/01/2023 and go to 12/31/2023. The base year will only be 9 months.

The previous contract that was awarded for this requirement is in unison under 862211. Request copies of exhibit 1 from benyamin.dehghani.civ@army.mil.

The machines on site are a mix of top loaded washing machines, front loaded drying machine as well as stackable dryer/washer combo. The requested machines that the government is searching for will meet the criteria as described below. . COMMERCIAL ENERGY STAR WHIRLPOOL RATER ELECTRIC WASHERS: Shall be top load, or an approved equal, meeting or exceeding the following minimum requirements: 1. Commercial electric washers with a minimum load capacity of 18 pounds. 2. Non-coin operated. 3. Contain basic regular and gentle wash cycles. 4. Bear operating instructions for users. B. COMMERCIAL ENERGY STAR WHIRLPOOL RATED ELECTRIC DRYER shall be front load, or an approved equal, meeting the following minimum requirements: 1. Commercial electric dryers with a minimum load capacity of 18 pounds. 2. Non-coin operated. 3. Electrically operated 200/240v, 60Hz, with a prong to fit the outlet plug. 4. Contain basic regular and permanent press drying cycles. 5. Timer for drying period, minimum of 0-60 minutes capability. 6. Interlock safety switch to stop dryer when door is open. 7. Bear operations instructions for users.

To all, the contractor for this action will need to supply/lend 8 washer units and 8 dryers unit as listed in exhibit 1. Exhibit 1 also includes approximately 197 additional government owned washers and dryers that the goverment operates.
